ballistic vest
A specialized protective vest, designed exclusively for service dogs in roles such as police or military work. The vest is constructed from durable materials like Kevlar to ensure their safety and protection. This vest helps shield these dogs from sharp objects and bullets during dangerous situations, ensuring their safety. The customized design not only provides better protection but also makes sure the dogs feel comfortable, allowing them to do their job effectively in all situations while reducing the chance of getting hurt.
k9 training program
The K9 Training Program supports law enforcement handlers and their K9 partners by providing practical training. Training includes laser directional sends, proper long-line use, and time spent dialing in and refining the basics such as obedience, control, clear communication between handler and dog. The goal is to help prepare teams for further advancement and more demanding roles.
During training, we share ideas that have worked well in the past for advancing existing K9 programs, including areas such as SWAT integration and selecting patrol K9 teams that may work alongside SWAT teams. Training may also include close-quarters work with K9s to help teams operate in confined spaces, elevated stress levels, and fast-moving situations.
